Aldehydes
Aldehydes have been known in perfumery since the 20th century. beginning The smell of aldehydes cannot be compared to anything else - they smell fresh, clean, orderly, reminiscent of freshly washed laundry or a frosty, crisp winter morning.
It is believed that the legendary French designer Coco Chanel was the first to use this substance in her perfume. This idea worked so well that today practically no perfume is produced without aldehyde substances.
